Takagism – Viridian Room Solution

Viridian Room is the next room to solve after Takagism: Crimson room, for which I previously posted a solution. This one is much harder to solve alone, but I still recommend that!

The following hints can help you solve the game, but can also spoil the challenge – read them one tip at a time, and only when you're stuck.

Warning: Spoilers ahead!

• You'll need to find every possible item to solve this one.
• There are two items to pick up in the red cabinet: a Chinese letter and a photo frame.
• You can find another letter beneath the brown blanket thingies.
• There are four items you can immediately pick up in the gray cabinet. For the fifth one, find a key…
• There's something scary beneath the red blanket…
• You need to steal three items from the skeleton. It's not really stealing, actually, but that's for you to find out later…
• There's another letter somewhere near the ceiling above the skeleton.
• In order to find the hardest letter, you need to look at the Crimson Room door from afar.
• Still can't find it? Try the edge of the lamp, only barely displayed from this angle…
• Two items can be found in the refrigerator – but you need one of them cold for the end.
• There's a garbage can to the right of the freezer.
• You can only pick up the garbage can after you look at the item you got from it.
• By now you need 6 Chinese letters – finding them can be frustrating, have patience!
• Have you tried using a key item?
• Make sure you remember Sandra's birthday.
• Diaries sometimes have surprising endings…
• You need to combine several items now.
• Hints:
• Never keep a CD unprotected
• Human hair burns well
• So does paper
• The frame can only hold one picture
• Ideas sometimes come in your sleep
• Didn't get the last one? Can't sleep well without a red blanket…
• Here comes the hardest part: assembling the Soul Box.
• For this you'll need 6 Chinese letters and three papers...
• You'll need to put the letters in the green paper in a very specific order.
• The order is green.
• Every letter has a number.
• The number is orange.
• Compare the orange with the gray – don't they have a common structure?
• If you got all 6 letters in the correct order, you now have a Soul Box.
• Now we need to unlock a mystery.
• The skeleton is really safe.
• Something's pulling your leg.
• The password for the chain is MMDD.
• Think of the Month and the Day that's very special for him.
• I wrote you the best hint much earlier.
• Never forget your loved one's birthday …
• Find something that goes BING!
• Put everything you can near it.
• You still need one item.
• **** is best served cold.
